Privacy

  • Local only: data stays on your Mac. TimeScroll doesn’t send your data anywhere.
  • The only network requests sent are to check for app updates. You can disable this as well
  • You can delete all data in Preferences at any time.
  • Snapshots are standard image files organized by date.
  • TimeScroll currently does no additional encryption. Should someone gain control to your Mac, they will be able to access your snapshots.
  • Permissions: macOS asks for Screen Recording access; you may revoke it anytime in System Settings.
  • No analytics or any tracking.
